For use, the "coarse slicer" clip in plate with raised blade has to be inserted into a
component specific to each customer, this component ensures the clip in
plate's "support" and "drive" functions.
This clip in plate comprises a ferritic stainless steel "body" and
a raised hardened martensitic stainless steel blade, which provides
better cutting capacity than an integrated blade.
It fulfils the same function as the "coarse slicer" disc, i.e. slicing
vegetables or fruit into thick rounds.
