"Scraper" disc

The "scraper" disc is intended to take a thermoplastic insert, specific to each customer, to ensure the disc drive by the support hub.

It is covered in cutting bosses whose shape reduces the food into shavings.
The disc is pierced with multiple holes to facilitate the clearing of the material reduced into shavings which prevents it sticking onto the disc.

Here are some application examples :
- reducing chocolate or hard cheese into shavings (e.g. Parmesan cheese) ;
- grinding potatoes and other soft vegetables ;
- shredding some firm fruit into shavings (e.g. coconut).
